THE JAM will release a live boxset ‘Fire & Skill’ on October 30th. The six CD collection gathers live recordings from various stages of the trio’s career, one from each year of their six years together. The collection features a 1977 show recorded at The 100 Club in London; a 1978 show recorded at london’s Music Machine; a 1979 concert from Reading University; a 1980 show at Newcastle City Hall; a concert from London’s Hammersmith Palais in 1981 and finally one of the band’s final shows in 1982, recorded at Wembley Arena.
The CDs – each remastered at Abbey Road and contained in individual gatefold wallets – are packaged in a custom made box with a 72-page hard-back book and a set of five postcard prints.
