Peter Hook to publish 'Substance', an autobiography of his time in New Order

Former JOY DIVISION and NEW ORDER bassist PETER HOOK will publish the much anticipated second volume of his autobiography in October.

Continuing where his previous book, ‘Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division’, left off, the new volume, ‘Substance: Inside New Order’, promises to be “a no-holds-barred, comprehensive account of the band’s entire history, packed with outrageous anecdotes and including every set list and tour itinerary and interspersed with ‘geek facts’ of every piece of electronic equipment used to forge the sound that changed the direction of popular music.”
