JOHN FOXX will release a limited edition vinyl album of singles and b-sides from around the time of his classic ‘Metamatic’ album, but which didn’t feature on the original album.
The ‘Burning Car’ album will be limited to just 750 numbered copies, each packaged in a gatefold sleeve designed by Jonathan Barnbrook (the designer responsible for the artwork for DAVID BOWIE‘s new album Blackstar). ‘Burning Car’ and was inspired by a rare Japanese six-track album of the same name, but this edition is expanded to a full twelve tracks including the first ever vinyl release for ‘Like A Miracle (Alternative Version)’ and ‘Young Love’.
SIDE ONE – Film One / This City / No-One Driving (Single Version) / He’s A Liquid (Alternative Version) / Young Love / Like A Miracle (Alternative Version). SIDE TWO – A New Kind Of Man (Alternative Version) / Burning Car / 20th Century / My Face / Mr No / Glimmer
The album is available from the John Foxx website’s ONLINE SHOP.
