Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan has contributed vocals to the latest track from Rob Marshall’s Humanist project. ‘Shock Collar’ is taken from Humanist’s eponymous album which will be released on February 21st.
Talking to NME, Gahan revealed that the collaboration inspired him to make more music of his own, and hopes to release more material as part of his Soulsavers project before the end of the year, saying “It’s great to work with people like this because they stretch you. Having been lucky enough to make music with other people for the last 40 years, I’m always looking for someone to take me out of my comfort zone. It makes me better at what I do in the long run. I learn so much from people with fresh ideas.”
