Cyndi Lauper is to be the recipient of the first ever High Note Global Prize which has been launched by the United Nations Human Rights Council. Lauper will receive the award in recognition of her efforts to end homelessness among LGBTQ+ youth through her True Colors United charitable organisation.
The award will be presented at Lauper’s ninth annual Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays benefit concert in Los Angeles on December 10th, UN Human Rights Day.
